Google launched a division dedicated to virtual reality

Google has already tested the waters of virtual reality with its Cardboard. This is more of an accessory than anything, a smartphone is needed to truly enjoy the virtual reality. But still, Google has ventured into this field that interests many players. Oculus (owned by Facebook) is in, like Sony with its PlayStation VR or HTC with his HTC Vive.

To address this division, Google has named Clay Bavor as responsible. He had already occupied the Cardboard (photo above). This accessory makes cardboard was first entertained the users. It's a way to have a "low-cost virtual reality". Jokes were made when it was released, but now the project more interested than he laughed. Schools benefit in particular because Cardboard costs a few dollars.

What Google is about to make in virtual reality? For now, the American giant does not communicate about the subject. He will have to wait a little while until we know more.

From 18 to 20 May, will hold its annual conference Google I / O. Maybe we will have the right to demonstrate a product or a technology. As a reminder, Google Glass were presented at a conference I / O few years ago. This time, it was more of augmented reality.
